Bridgestone is the world’s largest tire manufacturer, and it is a name that has become synonymous with quality in the automotive industry. Not all of the vehicles available through your BMW dealer come with Bridgestone tires, but there are a good many BMW of El Cajon customers who, over the years, ultimately decide to upgrade when the opportunity presents itself.
Of course, when we say “not all” vehicles come with Bridgestone tires, we mean that there are a few that do. More specifically, the 2019 BMW X5 and 2019 BMW X7 models now will be fitted exclusively with Bridgestone tires right off the assembly line, giving customers some of the most respected products in the industry.
“The design and application of a tire plays an important role in ensuring a vehicle performs to its maximum capability,” said Shannon Quinn, president, Consumer Original Equipment Tires, U.S. and Canada, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations. “We value our strong partnership with BMW and are proud of the collaboration during the development of innovative, performance-driven tire technology for BMW’s sports activity vehicle line.”
Both popular BMW SUVs will be given either Bridgestone Alenza or Blizzak series tires. The former involves two models (the Alenza 001 and Alenza Sport A/S), one of which is a high-performance tire and the other is an all-season tire. The Blizzak LM001 is designed for vehicles in areas with snowy winters, which means they likely will not be a popular option here in California.
The sizes will range from 18” to 21,” giving customers plenty of choices. In this pairing, two of the most respected brands in the automotive industry converge to better quality than ever for fans of the BMW X5 and BMW X7.
